Literary Essays

The 6th Grade has been working hard for the past month and a half on literary essays. First we read short stories and talked about the different literary elements they included. Then each student focused on a specific short story to analyze in depth for their essay. They have developed a claim, and read each short story to find reasons and evidence to support that claim.
